About Us

Angel consists of a group of 17-year-old students from London. We created Angel to tackle the stigma around men’s mental health and the associated difficulties of opening up. Initially founded to take part in a national business competition for secondary-school students, we have designed and locally produced a set of 40 cards with powerful, relatable prompts, making it easier to talk about feelings in a safe and engaging way. For boys, they deepen self-understanding. For parents, they bridge the gap to their child’s wellbeing. And finally, for families they foster stronger connections.

We’re in a time where toxic masculinity is finally being challenged, but boys are still suffering in silence. By normalising conversations, we build lifelong habits of emotional openness. Our gamified approach turns a difficult subject into something boys actually want to engage with.

We’re not outsiders. We are the boys who’ve lived through it. That’s why for us it’s not just a business, it’s personal.

In our 8 months of running, we have provided cards for families all over London, taking part in trade fairs and events all over London, including at Spitalfields Market. We have also partnered with several schools’ PSHE departments, aiding them in educating boys on the importance of speaking up.

This is just the beginning. We are rapidly expanding, collaborating with tens of schools across London, and we are developing relationships with key charities in the space. Stay in touch with the process by following us on Instagram and signing up to our newsletter.
